Assignment Authorization

Last updated November 5, 2026

Every assignment request requires confirmation that the person submitting it is authorized to do so. This page explains what that authorization means.

1. Authority to Request

By submitting a request, you confirm that you are the owner of the business, an officer, a manager, or an authorized representative with the authority to request independent observation of the site and operations described.

If you are submitting on behalf of a client or another business, you confirm that you hold written authority to do so.

2. Lawful Purpose

You confirm the assignment is requested for a lawful business purpose, such as verifying attendance, documenting site activity, verifying work progress, or confirming appropriate use of company vehicles and equipment.

You confirm the assignment is not requested to harass, intimidate, stalk, retaliate against, or unlawfully monitor any individual, and is not related to a domestic or personal matter.

3. Lawful Access

You confirm that lawful observation of the site is permitted, that any required access authorization has been obtained, and that no lease term, court order, or property restriction prohibits the requested observation.

Observers will not enter restricted areas, will not trespass, and will not act on any instruction that would require unlawful entry or interference.

4. Documentation Consent

You acknowledge that the assignment involves documenting observable conditions at the site, including operations, equipment, vehicles, and visible activity, and that photographs may be taken from lawful vantage points.

You acknowledge that Crew Watch controls the manner in which observations are made and will decline any instruction that is unlawful or unsafe.

5. State and Local Requirements

Observation activity is subject to state and local law. Some jurisdictions require licensing or restrict certain observation practices. You acknowledge that an assignment may be declined, modified, or ended where requirements cannot be satisfied.

6. No Guaranteed Outcome

You acknowledge that authorization to request an assignment does not guarantee that an assignment will be accepted, scheduled, or dispatched, and does not guarantee any particular finding.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Crew Watch against claims arising from inaccurate authorization, undisclosed restrictions, or unlawful instructions connected to your request.
