1. Scope of Services
Crew Watch assigns an independent field observer to document observable activity at the location described in the accepted request, during the agreed window, and to deliver a written field report.
The scope of an assignment is limited to what is stated in the accepted quote. Requests to expand scope during or after an assignment require a revised quote.
2. Deliverables
Deliverables typically include a written field report describing documented observations and, where included in the quote, authorized photographs and timestamps.
Delivery timelines are stated in the quote. Reports describe observations only and contain no conclusions about any individual’s conduct, character, or legal status.
3. Client Authorization
The client confirms it is the owner or an authorized representative of the business and has the authority to request observation of the site. The client must disclose any known restriction on observation at the location.
Where access to private property is required, the client is responsible for arranging lawful access and any required consent.
4. Observer Independence
Field observers are independent contractors or assigned personnel who document what they observe. They do not take direction from, report to, or act as agents of the client, and they do not confront, detain, question, discipline, or remove any person.
Observers do not perform security functions, do not intervene in operations, and do not act as law enforcement.
5. Limitations
Observation is limited to the agreed window and to what is visible and lawful to document. Crew Watch does not guarantee that any particular activity or condition will be present, observed, or captured.
Crew Watch may suspend or decline an assignment where a legal, safety, licensing, or access issue arises.
6. Fees, Scheduling, and Changes
Fees, deposits, cancellation terms, and rescheduling terms are stated in the written quote. Scheduling is confirmed only after acceptance and any required deposit.
Changes requested after confirmation may require additional fees and are subject to observer availability.
7. Report Use and Ownership
Reports and photographs are provided for the client’s internal business purposes. The client may use them in the ordinary course of managing its business and in consultation with its own advisors.
Reports may not be resold or published as investigative findings about any individual, and their use must comply with applicable law.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for purposes of the assignment.
9. Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify Crew Watch against claims arising from the client’s instructions, the client’s use of a report, or the client’s failure to disclose a legal restriction on observation at the site.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate an assignment as described in the quote. Fees for work already performed and non-recoverable travel remain payable.
